The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established with an annual intake of 60 in B. Tech. (ECE) Programme in the year 2013 with an objective of imparting quality education suitable to Industry/ Academia/ Research Organizations.
Alumni of the department have been studying in Premier Institutes such as IITs/ NITs/ IIITs and top Universities abroad as part of their higher education, working in multinational companies in India and abroad and becoming entrepreneurs.
The department has well equipped laboratories which are being upgraded continuously catering to the needs of Industry/ Academia/Research Organizations.
The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members with zeal for teaching, research and administration.
The faculty members of the department have been presenting papers in repute international conferences, publishing research papers in indexed journals and doing research projects with funding from central funding agencies such as Department of Science (DST), AICTE, UGC etc.
